Due to the growing new needs in the company, we are looking for new QA engineer who like to find solutions to interesting problems and to participate in various AWS-hosted development projects. Implementation will employ the stack based on Java/Spring. Application architecture will be designed using a variety of AWS services and SDKs.
The Development application division has a flat organizational structure in which developers collaborate in project teams. We work 100% remotely from various cities and countries. We trust each other, so do not take screenshots of the screen, do not look through webcams and do not track printing on the keyboard, as many others do. The professional reputation of engineers and developers in our community is of the highest value.
Responsibilities:
Design test process, prepare test plans and check-lists
Manual and automated testing of web applications
Compose and manage test reports
Tight collaboration with in-house engineering team and US-based customer representatives
Requirements:
At least 4 years as QA engineer in custom software development projects
Experience working as QA engineer in a web application development projects, functional and UI testing
Some background in test automation, applicable for web apps
Good understanding of cross-browser testing (FireFox, Edge, Safari, Chrome), be familiar with test tools like BrowserStack
Hands on experience with TestRail and Selenium
Solid understanding of CI/CD paradigm
English B2+ (there will be technical calls with US-based team)
Nice to have:
Fundamental understanding of BDD and real hands-on experience with some unit tests framework like Cucumber
Familiarity of HOCON (typesafe config)
Hands on Java coding skills
