Together with our client based in Finland, we're looking for a Senior Backend Developer. Are you eager to take responsibility and proactively push the products and the team forward? Would you like to work with modern technologies in a multi-cloud environment? This is a role for you, be ready to grow your tech stack in the new areas!

Our partner is a software engineering and innovation consultancy working in industries ranging from energy, retail, and construction to media, finance, and automotive. As a part of a product team based fully in Europe, you will be working with a service platform selling the service and product directly to end customers in different countries. The business drivers for the services improve customer retention, satisfaction and improve customer service through self-service functionalities. In the future, the goal is to add features enabling up-selling and cross-selling of new services.

The team works autonomously in close collaboration with customers' POs according to agile principles continuously trying to improve the ways of working. The team has full technology ownership of the services being developed from requirement planning to development and operations

Tech stack: Scala, Play Framework, MySQL, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, React, Redux, Less, Sass, AWS

Location: Kraków, Lublin, Gdańsk, Remote

Salary:

• B2B: 19 000 - 23 000 PLN NET
• CoE: 16 000 - 19 500 PLN GROSS

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development
• Solid knowledge of any statically-typed language (Scala, Java, C#, etc.)
• Working experience with AWS/Azure
• Eagerness to keep on learning new things
• Very good English skills both spoken and written (min. B2)

Nice to have:

• Experience with React
• Experience with Node
• Experience in DevOps, supporting developers by providing infrastructure, maintaining CI/CD systems, etc.
• Experience with IoT devices and services
